I got my 93 SE 5sp for $4K with 100K on the dash. Guy I bought it from went and got himself a Honduh with a Slaughter-matic transmission and said he wanted something faster. He needed the 4K for his carbon fiber hood, Indy car spoiler, Alteezer tails, white wheels, and yeller paint w/vinyl graphics for that 12 sec 'look'. I gave the Max the home and owner it deserves.

Old guy was tired of paying insurance on it...

He had 2 cars and need to get rid of one so a 92 GXE fully loaded 49,000 mi for $5,500. One owner all original paperwork (even the $20,000 original sticker price that goes on the window at the dealership). It was pretty much a steal.

in summer '99 bought my 1991 GXE for ~$6k including title, etc.(probably could've gone lower), but KBB was $8.5k back in 1999....anyways 105k miles, immaculate condition, chrome rims(only 15" but still chrome ), records, it only needed some minor repairs to pass inspection, but the dealer payed for those....it was my first car, I love my Max!!!!

$5900 and traded in a POS 86 Honda Accord LXI for $1400 which needed a new 5-speed tranny or rebuild, and had electrical problems. If I wasn't so far in debt right now I would probably sell mine. I need to get nearly $4500 for it with JWT ecu/N20 Daughterboard, Greddy SP, Random Cat, WarpSpeed t409 SS Y-pipe, Gracer Airinx S intake, and stock stereo, or $4000 stock I would sell it with stock rims and tires in good shape, or think about my 5 konig livewires with 2 month old Kuhmo Ecstas on them.

I got my 90 GXE for 1200 with only 142K just a couple months back. From what i see the guy was pretty desperate in selling the car, so that's why i guess i got myself a pretty decent deal. Should have talked in down pass the one grand mark thou

Got my 91 SE 5spd for $4895 with 96k in December of 1999. It has everything except leather. Even has ABS I think it was a great deal. Actually, its in MUCH better condition now than it was when I bought it. Fo Shizzle™

90 GXE $1,500 150000 miles crapily fixed quarter panel (I replaced) but perfect interior and runs and drives perfect had it for 2 years now.

93 SE $800 no leather or moonroof but in perfect shape inside and out unless you count the wrecked side 118,000 miles had for a couple months now. will have about $2500 in it after it is fixed, stillen kit installed, bmw lights put on and painted-(its good to have friends that owe you ). so not too bad it is an auto though but I am not interested in racing with a Maxima I have another car to race if I wanted to.

had to edit this post I don't know why I put 92 SE but it is a 93.

My Car

I got my 93 GXE in May 2001 for 6700 at a Volkswagen Dealer. They said the car went "through the shop" and was all tuned up and stuff. I have since changed the timing belt and got a new power antenna which broke again . I like the car just wish it was the SE engine. I need to learn how to drive a 5spd! What you guys think a 93 GXE will sell for in 2002 august with 74K miles on it plus some mods?

Sounds like you got a good deal Maximan. Looking at those pictures your 92 looks in better shape than my 94.

I paid $8500 for 94 SE with 89K on it in April '01. It's pretty well loaded inlcuding leather and came with a one year warranty.

Almost 1 year ago, I bought my car for $4500 with just over 120K miles on it. Since then, I've had to put in about $2500 worth of work into the car to get it running the way it should. Now I'm working on modding it. I'll have the car paid off by the end of this year, so that's when the REAL fun begins!

I got my car in February 1997 with 65K miles for $9900.

I put on 73K miles on the car since and I have been very happy. Great car. The only major work was replacing the front exhaust studs. I plan to drive it to 200k miles.

I got my 91 SE for $4200 in Dec/Jan (can't remember..) with 123k. The guy was asking $5000. I thought that was a little steep! It came with tinted windows and illegal blue lights in the tail light

1991 GXE little under 100k miles - $4000 but ended up paying 6000 cause not too much later after buying tranny died.

1990 SE 5-speed 133,000 miles - $2500, had to get new master brake cylinder and just recently ordered an entire clutch kit off of Courtesy which is pi$$ing me off because i ordered last tuesday and they said didn't have the clutch and would be getting them monday of this week then i never got it and they said they're having a hard time finding my order but they already billed the credit card and a bunch of b.s. oh well, all in all, i spent about $3000 - $3500.

something people should know that live near indy DO NOT BUY USED FROM TOM WOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
