What springs?

Hey guys I have a 94 SE, and I would like to buy springs for it by the end of this year. I'm thinking about the eibach pro kit, but I'm not sure, what can you guys suggest. I don't really car about drop, just better performance. And I don't have a ton of money

i don't like progressive springs personally. even though they may ride a bit better, i like linear. I'm very happy with my ST's, although i've heard people are very happy with their eibachs. . .

samabra: search bro. there's been so many threads on this. if you want performance, you want eibachs.

thurmer85: you should search too man. anyway, if you want a drop, get intrax or sprint. both are around a 1.75-2.00 inch drop somewhere in there.

I just put the Eibach Pro-Kit in my car and it feels really good. The drop in the front is pretty good. The rear is still up a little but I guess I have to let it settle. Once I think it settles I'll post up pics and I'll see if I can send you any soon. The ride quality didn't change much, the only thing that I noticed is that on the highway when I take a bump the car feels pretty stiff. I know that the sprint springs give you the most in a drop. I wouldn't go for intrax since I read on other website's that they are not good in quality.

i believe eibach are 1.5 and sprints are 1.8
eibachs might even be 1.25 in the back and 1.5 in the front or something like that...corrections?

Bah...nobody believe the crap about Intrax not being good quality. I've had them for 2 years now and couldnt be happier.

Eibach - 1.25"

ST - 1.5"

Arospeed - 1.75" (Dont know of anybody who has them though)

Intrax - 1.75"

Sprint - 1.8"

Hope this clears some stuff up. It's good if you'll do some easy research on this stuff. It's all readily available info.

yeah I missed that part...

well how old are they?? they might be worn out...but also remember usually the lower spring you choose the more bounce you get. My Sprints are the same way...after they settle its open season in "bouncyville"!! they only solution is probably a set of Koni struts....

Hey thanks y'all. I think I'm going to go with the eibachs. Anyone know where to get them cheap? Cheapest I've seen is $230....
BTW Flyry110 I like the dual exhaust! That's very cool

Mine's a little bouncy too. But dont confuse a little bounce with lack of handling integrity. I have ZERO bodyroll in turns and no tire squeal. My car handles superbly. I love my suspension setup, maybe a lil bouncy, but I'll still take my zero bodyroll and bounciness over having Eibachs and looking like a 4x4 anyday.

I think the cheapest I've heard of them going for is $200. If you haven't already, scour the internet and search engines for online stores (sometimes it's fun to shop). Also, don't forget your local stores. Not sure about your area, but I've found some very reasonable prices (especially considering shipping) at local shops - look in the Automotive Parts and Auto. Racing categories and let your fingers do the walking.
