I just did a few searches on removing the rear reflector off of the trunk... and found squat... anyone here ever done it and ended up happy with the results?

Stu did...

Along with R33 tails. Looks real good, but if you just remove the reflector and that's it it's gonna look like total crap. You need to have it shaved at a body shop like Stu. Cost should be no more than $150 even if you get ripped...

Hrmm...

Yeah, the thing i was worried about is that the taillights would stick out abit, how would i remedy this? I just want the reflector gone, so i can put the maxima emblem straight on the trunk....

You can't just take the reflector off and expect it to look okay, or like it could be stock. Go to a body shop that does fabrications and tell them you want that piece removed and the trunk to be flush. They will take a piece of sheet metal and weld it to where that reflector was and then sand it all down and make it smooth. The finished result should look something like what Stu has done, minus the GT-R tails of course. Should NOT be any more than $100 worth of work I would guess...
