what is the throttle postion sensor supposed to be set at on a 92 SE. i would appriciate it if you would help. Thanks

 

As I recall the TPS monitors closed throttle and wide open. The position that it is set at can be adjusted and measured using a multimeter to ensure it is set right. Darn fiddly operation to do from my experience. Trying to adjust the TPS for any performance gains would not be worthwhile.

To answer your question................It's a small black box with a cord on the dual throttle (near front of engine). I really recommend getting a shop manual for your car. It will save you a ton of time and typing on the org. Vaya con dios!

Are you looking to set the closed throttle position switch on the TPS?
