my gas guage, after filling up goes to half-full within about 10 miles and then after that goes VERY slowly from halfway to E. not a problem except that i often have to take long trips with it and need very close readings... anyone know how to fix this?

 

Not totally sure...however chances are its the sending unit in the fuel tank (removed my taking out bottom part of back seat) or it could be the gauge itself in the dash....
