Keypad question

Keypad question

does anyone know how to change the green lights under the door keypad to something else like blue. And is there a way to activate my stock alarm???? Cuz i would like to know that my alarms actually does more then just blinks when you lock your door.

Stock alarm will honk the horn and flash the lights when you unlock the car without the key more than thirty seconds ofter locking it.

I wanted to do this also. I was at the junkyard today and saw a 91SE and its interior panels were gone. Looking inside the front door there is a little black box behind the keypad that can be removed. As I have not done this, I would recommend trying it on one from a junkyard first. Seems to me it can be done if you have the patience, skills, and guts.

do you have any ideas what bulb size is under there?
are they the 194 like everything else in the car or something different

I have no Idea, BUT... if they were smart they would have green LED's because bulbs burn out and I think it would be a ***** to replace the bulbs.
