keyless entry pad question on 91max

I obviously have a 91 maxima.

It has numbers on the door YAY!
I can push 9|0 to lock the door, SWEET!

anyway my question is this...

I have the 7 digit code that allows me to alter my code for keyless entry. I was wondering if you guys new how this works?

if I press ST (start) and enter the 7 digits, I get a long single beep (As far as I know only this 7 digit does that).

So anyone have any ideas?

you have it right on the nose....

When you type those 7 digits and then you hear the long beep.. that is when you enter the new code.. but it cannot be repeated twice....

has to be different..

12 34 56 78 90
1 2 3 4 5

has to a combination

example....
this is a 4 digit key code
key pad 78 12 34 90
code you select 4 1 2 5

this is a 5 difit code..
key pad 78 34 90 12 56
code you select 4 2 5 1 3

just as long as your code isn't repeated twice
key pad 78 78 90 12 56
code you select 4 4 5 1 3

its ok if you go
key pad 78 90 78 12 56
code you select 4 5 4 1 3

get it.. once you enter the numbers the beep will go away after a couple of sec... all you have to do is lock the door press st/cr and enter the code you selected.. the door will unlock..

prss and hold wind... the window will go down.. and sunroof will open...

press trunk.. and the trunk will open.. good luck..

did you get to undersatnad the reply..lol

I wrote it just now.. and it was all spaced out and everything..but the forum took the empty spaces.. ahh all that work lol..

I hope that the code works...

btw i meant to put it this way
12__=1
34__=2
56__=3
78__=4
90__=5

so its any combo of the 1,2,3,4,5
cannot be repeated... 1 1 5 4 3
good code it......... 1 4 2 4 1 numbers dont repeat back to back like the first one....

I had my maxima since sep... and i was wondering the same thing on how to change my code...
The dealership wanted to charge me 100+ do take out the glove box and "Reprogram" the computer... B/S,... and allit took me was 3 minutes...

Have fun

when you put your pass code you can open the window, open the trunk and or course open the doors.. the only thing you can close is the dorr.. the windows and the truck havd to closed manually.. of course it has been months and i am sure you have already figured this out

get a flash light and move the passenger seat all the way back. and lay on your back facing uphead under the glove box where the passengers feet would be. now look up to your left... facing the door you will see a brass box with wires coming out of it.. locate the number starting with the lette "S" ex. S1329123..write those numbers down.

get out the max and and lock the doors now used the directions i wrote above and have fun....

you must enter a new code with in 5-10 sec... good luck.. and pick a number that you can remeber easly
