Clutch out......Again!

Ok, so just replaced my clutch for the first time about 8 months ago at 120K Miles. I take to the shop yesterday and i found out that my clutch is burned out. How couldit go out so fast. Will the ACT clutch last longer? Any advice would help. Thanks

if it was a key value clutch its not surprising.my key value clutch blew after about 8 months.one of the tension springs came out of the disc.

where do u get that key value clutch, so I make sure I don't buy it?

did you resurface the flywheel? also did you just replace the clutch disc, or did you also change the pressure plate? If the pressure plate or flywheel are warped, it can burn out the clutch faster than normal. i didn't catch how long ago you replaced the clutch.
