how does your filter stay on .... hehehe

ok.. im getting rid of all my old cone filter sh*t and getting new stuff.. i dont want spend 150 bucks on a PRCAI, so i need to build something just as good..

so far i know that the 90-93 accord's pipe will fit(somewhat) but if i go with a hook up like that i will need an ADDAPTER for the MAF sensor... is there any place on the net were i can just buy the addapter? or i know ppl make them, i think i killed my stock air box thing... so that wont work. Has any one ever seen any other "homemade" intakes?
i remember ppl taking about using PVC would this stuff work? how would i get it on my MAF sensor?
any ideas will help..

i did search .. but no direct answer

I just E-mailed (LONG F*ing e-mail) a E-bay POWER SELLER that sells 90-93 accord intakes, they look like they would fit great (leaving the filter behind the headlight. i hopefuly he will confirm that they do fit.. and we can buy then from him for 50 bucks

other idea

het chris...i have a friend here who has a friend at a muffler shop. He just used like 3' piping, bent it and painted it red. It looks like total crap, but it was cheaper tham the real thing. Just though i'd share.

nopi is has the upper tube for only 35 dollars, comes with a crappy filter. Why risk the honda tube and there is already one for the maxima.

the two piece cold airs ofr the accords will fit, THE ONE PIECES LIKE THE ONE IN THAT PIC WILL NOT!!

i am currently using the upper piping from an accord 90-93, and it fits, the two piece would fit just as a WSP or PR if you cut the whole. You can just purchase an adapter seperately.

here is a picture of the 90-93 2piece cold air

some other years will fit too, you just have to kinda use common sense and see what they look like.

Not saying you're wrong cuz i don't have it myself
but that one piece is being sold by nopi as an aftermarket intake for the 3rd gen maxima

the picture you posted? there is no way that would fit on a maxima.
