i dont know exactly how to remove the antenna but if the case is because the antenna is stuck, try some WD40 on the antenna when its fully extended

Please search. I have posted this reponse about 5 times now. This is a cut and paste from 5/25/2001:

Follow these simple instructions.

1.) Go to http://gen3.4mg.com/
2.) Click on "Library"
3.) Click on Power Antenna Replacement/Repair

There are detailed instructions with pictures, a step-by-step guide, a "tools needed" list, and the part # for the replacement antenna mast.

The instructions tell you how to do everything. If you have any questions, post them here and I will try to help you out as much as possible.

Antenna replacement...

Can't you just replace the entire power antenna assembly? I would imagine that you could use any power antenna that you wanted to, couldn't you? I need to replace my power antenna because it broke a couple of months back, and I'd like to replace the whole thing. If it's simply a matter of buying a whole new one and replacing it, I'd rather do that than trying to replace part of the antenna that's broken. Don't most power antennas only come in one size anyway?

Thanks for your advice in advance...
