Windows Messin Up

I HAVE A 89 SE AND I JUST INSTALLED MY SPEAKERS IN THE FRONT DOOR AND FOR SOME STRANG REASON THE THE DRIVERSIDE CONTROLLS FOR THE WINDOWS CAN MAKE ALL THE WIDOWS GO DOWN BUT NOT UP WITH OUT THE KEY BEING IN THE IGINTION. ON THE INDVIDUAL WINDOW CONTROLLS U CAN MOVE THEM UP AND DOWN WITH OUT THE KEY. I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE WIRES AT LEAST 4 OR 5 TIMES AND EVERY THING IS IN ITS RIGHJT POSITION AND CONNECTED RIGHT. ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEA OR TIPS?

just a little food for thought...
your windows are not supposed to go up or down w/o the key in the ign and turned to the "on" position.

now let's see..your windows go down w/o the key being in..but not up w/o the key being up. the up part is working correctly...what's the problem? you're complaining about the windows going down w/o the key?

oh well...my windows work prefectly fine..i can care less about your problem.
oh and...
there's a BUTTON ON THE KEYBOARD...IT SAYS CAPS LOCK ON IT...USE IT!!!

::rant::
see it's a$$holes like you that give the new guys a bad rep. i'm just trying to help..but u decided to be a punk about it. good luck trying to figure out your problem.

there is still power in the car for a couple seconds after you take the key out. So maybe that's why your windows goes down but not up.

it doesn't work like that...there is no reserved power..once the key is off it's off.

do you have little mice running on wheels instead of motors on your window regulator? if so, it's possible that they just might be hungry and want to get your attention?

my friend's 93 accord allows the windows to go up and down for about a minute after the car is off. i think the sunroof does it too. so maybe danny thought you KNEW that some cars could do that. so maybe you should think.
