i am thinkin about investing some money in my max. i figure a paint job, new springs, shocks, and struts and some leather will cost me under $5k. but how can i check if it will be worth it? will compression check be good enough? or should i check some other stuff as well. thanks

that was the plan. but i am really considering buying a motorcycle this weekend. if i do, then i wont have enough money to buy a passat. so i was thinking of either waiting for another 6 or 7 months to buy a passat or just hookin up the max. the max will look really nice with a paint job and drop. and i honestly love the way it drives. if someone buys it, cool the passat will come. but as of right now, no buyers.
