exhaust gas sensor?

Can unhooking the exhaust gas sensor and leaving it off cause any damage, long or short term? If it does, does anyone know a web site that sells them for a 92SE? If you know please help!! Thanks!

Don't use a used 02 sensor, only buy new. You can get them at your local car parts store for around $80.
