Weird clicking noise

I recently unplugged my exhaust gas sensor (oxygen sensor) because my car was lunging. It fixed it our at least I thought it did. But now when I start my car sometimes (when the car has been driven recently and is already warmed up) there is a weird clicking noise for a minute or so, it sounds like it is coming from the ECU, and the car will run bad. If it doesn’t click then the car will run fine. But if it does click then it lunges and runs bad. Does anyone know what this is? Does this mean I need to put a new sensor on to make it stop doing that? If you know please help!! Thank you!!

First of all, plug your O2 sensor back in, you never run without a major sensor like that, if anything it will make performance worse. I'm suprised that it runs without the O2 sensor. Go to the auto parts store and buy a new one, and it should run much better. Your gas mileage must be in the single digits man. Let us know how it works out.
