Bayou Performance CPU

I just got my ECU back from Bayou Performance in Louisiana. He said about 17 hp increase. From the way it feels, he might be right. I am really happy with it. Even sent back my original Eprom and instructions on how to put it back if I need to. Emissions...y'know. only 200 bucks...I think it was worth it. Definitely more noticable than the CAI, y-pipe, and cat-back I already have. Now I finally feel like everything is working...

Oh a 90 SE auto...babying it until my trans goes out.

Only $200? After navigating around their website I found a price of $399 for the maxima, but only for the VG. Did they supply you with any dyno charts to back up their 17 hp claim? Do you have any plans to dyno this out yourself?

before you get all excited wouldn't you like to see some dyno charts or better claims than, "He said about 17 hp increase."

Nah, I don't think I would be able to dyno it. I ain't got no access to no dynos. I just said it feels better. My tranny is a bout to go so I ain't really gettin on it either. I was just trying to pass on some info for you helpful guys. I found out about them from a buddy in Texas who has a 1st gen Legend Sedan. He thinks he's starring in the Fast and Furious or something. But anyway, I only had to pay 200, so I don't know if he got the hook up or what.

I am happy with it though, I can definitely feel the difference and like I said, my tranny is almost shot. If It goes, I'll prolly end up getting a new Maxima, so I just thought I would check it out. Go out with a bang I guess.

Hmm according to your profile you live in CA or cali. Also none of these dynojet shops are around where you live http://www.dynojet.com/maps/autodynos/ca.htm . Since your tranny is on the way out and you plan on buying a newer car are you going to part out your car? Somehow I get the feeling that the ECU chip is from JET .
