im pretty sure i will go with tokico or koni (whichever is cheaper) and Suspension tech. if anyone should disagree, please let me know. otherwise, please tell me where i can get the best deal at. thanks

are konis worth the extra money? and is susp tech enough of a drop? arent they about a 1.5" drop? thanks. i want to order buy monday morning.

 

I don't own Konis, but from those that do they are worth every penny. you do have to "mod" the front strut housing(??) slightly to make them fit, but other than that....they are the best out there. Sus Tech Springs are nice too, good drop!

 

Modifying the strut housing is right, but it's not slight. You actually cut the end where the shaft comes out so you have an empty housing. The koni's are cartridges that fit in the housing. They bolt in at the end of the housing opposite the shaft. Contact Tire Rack or Koni and they will send you a copy of the install instructions FYI. They are fully adjustable..Scrape together the dough as this will be very useful for tuning and finding a comfortable rebound rate. Turn em to full hard at the track. I am about to send out for them soon.

Tok's suck? I was thinking about the same mod for my max. So whats wrong w/ the Tok's? I was gonna go for the Tok's with Eibach springs.... NJ were you talking about $310 for the Konis? If so I would prob. be interested, but i am more worried about the bodykit... whats goin on w/ that too?

 

i was wondering the same thing.. I heard that tokicos are god then i hear they are bad, but i have the gr2 installed but they are worn, and i baught the car like that so i dont know the true preformance of the gr2.. But i am deff in for a gd for springs and struts system..

 

no $330 is for tocikos unless you get two buyers then I can give it to you for $310
