Fuel gauge mounting inside?

I got a SARD fpr, walbro 255(high pressure pump) autometer a/f, fuel pressure gauges. Now the fuel pressure says im supposed to mount it outside of car. Is this just a safety precaution from autometer? If so i should be able to run a line from my fpr to my gauge, Right? I got the copper line they sell, should i cover this with a tube or anything to prevent damage? Where should i run the tube through the fire wall? I want to put my gauges were my coin tray is most likely, and i should be able to easily run the a/f by the shifer. Ill let you know how it goes!

umm

you should have got the electric fuel pressure guage with the electric sender that you just tap into and run a wire into the car and not a fuel line.

No you should not mount it inside. I made the mistake of buying the mechanical instead of the electrical. I'm just going to mount it near the battery.

of converting it (if possible) you might as well pay the $85 for the electrical, put the mechanical on ebay and cut your losses, you should have emailed me I have a guy with good prices on gauges

Where did you see the electrical one for $85? Options Auto has it for ~$200.
