coolant temp sensor

coolant temp sensor

is there any way of checking the coolant temp sensor? thanks

use multimeter
check if 2.5k ohm
if not -> replace.

There are two coolant temp sensors.

One that goes to the ECU and one that goes to the temp gauge.

What's the reading supposed to be for each? Is 2.5k ohm for the one going to the ECU or the one to the temp gauge?
