HELP!! Broken Orginial Key

I took my key out of my pocket yesterday and it had broke off. Do these keys have chips in them?? Luckily I have a spare made so I can get into the doors and start the car. If I go with my VIN number to the dealership can they make or get me another key?? I was also messing with the trunk safety lock and cant get it open because it is on and the spare key doesnt work for the trunk. I am going to have to take the back seats out that blows.

Thanks for any help!!

there's this small security latch that you can switch, it'll prevent someone from opening the trunk by using the incar release.
