What does a failing tranny do?
I was just wondering b/c mine might be going now. 
The shifter doesn't exactly line up with the gears, but it's not too bad. Other than that, the car still shifts pretty nicely. God, I wish I had a five speed!

mabey it just needs an adjustment. I know in my gxe you had to pull it back into drive all the way(not just let it click) or else it wouldnt go in.
then I got a 5spd
