9003 bulbs in 93 gxe max.

i replaced the entire front bumper of my ride...(someone hit it actually). when i got it back from the shop i was going to change the bulbs in there...

so, i went out and purchased 9004 bulbs, then guess what...

they don't fit. checked out the specs and it has 9003 bulbs..

anyone ever seeen this on a 93 max????????

Check the lens. Etched on the surface should be a code for the housing. If it's HB1, then you use a 9004 bulb. If it's HB2, then it's H4/9003.

Unless you have a JDM or European spec set of lamps, the OE lamps are HB1 for 3rd and 4th Gens in the US.
