Here's a thought..

Why don't you take off the headlight cover from the maxima headlight and see how well it fits onto the bmw headlight?

Damn..checking things out first would prevent alot of you guys from asking stupid questions.

Geez dude, learn some freakin' patients.

When Czar and I did my install for the headlights, we tried and failed to use the maxima headlight covers. we broke the lens... plus. trust me, when you see how the actual clear lens looks on the car, you won't want the webbed stock lens covering up the beautiful Twin circles. At least that is my opinion. Hell, until people really look hard at my car, most people think it was just an aftermarket headlight swap, and that since it's aftermarket, it doesn't fit quite right...

remember, these lights were not meant for the Maxima, it's a miracle they work at all.

I have done some updating on mine...click on the link in my sig and go to my e36 page...let all the pics load and click on the ones you want to enlarge...trust me in person they look factory...no one I know can tell. only people like us that know about the conversions can tell and that is if we looked close.
