Driveshaft

I am in the middle of replacing my clutch right now and let me say it is a biatch of a job....It took me literally 3.5 hrs. this morning to get the passenger side driveshaft out because it was so tightly wedged in the support bracket!!! Just venting some frustrations.....

Chris

Also, when under my car I noticed that most of my exhaust is on its way to being shot from the engine back....does anyone know offhand if the warpspeed Y-pipe goes from the engine all the way back to the cat, and does anyone have a clue how much it would cost about to have a muffler shop make a custom 2.5" catback pipe for me? Thanks all

Yes the warpspeed Y goes all the way to the cat. I don't know about the catback though, warpspeed sells those too I believe.

Re: Re: Driveshaft

Warpspeed Y-pipe goes to the cat. They do offer catback system (b-pipe and muffler, resonator optional. They offer a cat too. Best to change cat and b-pipe to 2.5" if that's the y-pipe collector diameter you have. Stock cat w/ 2.5" b-pipe will be a bottleneck. It will be about the same price to have a muffler shop bend one up for you. WS charges 150 for pipe, 170 w/ resonator plus price of muffler and cat if you need one. Their cats ar about 110, high quality. For comparison, Random Technology quoted me 260 for their cat alone! Muffer shop will come right in at roughly the same price for a pipe and muffler. Keep in mind they usually pressure bend, and pipe quality can get shady depending on the shop. Nice Mandrel bends on the WS units have. Bolt in too. I'm about to get a cat and B-pipe from WS, have the y-pipe. Going with a Flowmaster 60 series muffler. Should be throaty but mellow tone.
