Paint Problem

I noticed a couple weeks ago that on the paint on my trunk there are these little white crystals on it. I have washed it, but they dont come off. Any ideas?

If it's some weird dirt or residue and not your paint oxidizing (hazy, dull) or the clear coat cracking, there's two worlds of dirt: water-soluble and non-water soluble. Since washing didn't do it, try (also) rubbing alcohol, cooking oil, and bug-and-tar-remover.
