Rack and Pinion -- steering

Anyone have a write up on fixing a sterring problem? Maybe Rack and Pinion? I have no job and all the time I need. Money is short so the garage is out of the question. Need some do it yourself instructions. I got the 94 SE 5 speed.

Well, I jumped the gun. Today when I went to gym, my steering just all of sudden became very stiff. I figured it was the rack and pinion so I came home and posted this message before I went back to the gym with my friend and my dad. Well, we took the tire off and immediately saw the problem. A bolt had come off of the water pump tensioner pulley. So there was no tension and the obviously the belt was loose. This, as some of you know, also controls the power steering pump, which is why steering became stiff. I would still like the write up if someone has it. My left boot covering the connection between the tie rod and the tie rod end is busted. So I figure if, the parts are not too expensive, I will go ahead and replace before I get stuck somewhere where I do not want to be.
