Recently i was in autozone and noticed that they had a haynes manual for the max.....there were two manuals....85-92 and 93-95 (i think)!! Which one are we suppose to get, neither one has our body style on the front, the 93-95 has a 4th gen on the front while the 85-92 has a 2nd gen!! Help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have both Haynes Books and niether has "VE specific" info, rumor is that chiltons does. Oh and Maxdout92SE I would grab the 85-92 if I had to pick. I saw a FSM on E-BAY the other day for like $30

I had this problem also. neither haynes manual is good for you. So i went to strauss auto and i bought the chiltons manuals. it is very halpful it is is the right one. it has a 3rd gen. right on the cover, its blue. its made by haynes anyways and they say the chiltons book is better then the haynes. i dunno but the chilton is the one for us.
good luck

Aren't they ~$10 at WalMart? Chilton's manual I mean. I got mine years ago from there. Ebay's great for many things, but why wait when your local mart's there...

Yeah, get the Chiltons if you have a VE, I have both and the Haynes has nothing about the VE. Better yet get a factory service manual.

Interesting......

I've heard the same things about Armor All but have no proof. Although, I also heard not to use Windex on your tint: there's amonia in it that will destroy the tint after prolonged used. I suppose if you over use anything or use it improperly, it could do harm. Look at crack or even viagra for example.

I have the Haynes manual for my 93 GXE - VG engine, same as yours.

I got it from autozone for about $15 - its helpful for small things.

I got an awesome deal with that 94 FSM though - $45!

If you need to take a look at it, let me know I can hook u up!
