Of course, there is no other way. Change the filter of course.

Amsoil all the way baby!

No way to clean an engine without costing a $hit load and taking
it apart.

As for how long they last, it depends on the quality of the oil.
usually, on the back of the container it will say the recommended
schedule.

Amsoil is like once a year or 30,000 miles +

I would tell you to search but im too lazy (lots of info there btw)

Amsoil I got from ebay - 12 qts for like $78. good deal.

you can find it from an amsoil dealer in your area.

check out their website ...maybe amsoil.com

do a search

First off - You can get it from me!!! At significant savings vs retail!!!

2nd - going from blend to full synthetic, you are probably OK, just be sure to completely drain the old oil. An engine flush is not a bad idea, and is cheap and easy to do (cleans out the old stuff)

3rd - Amsoil has 3 options - 7500/6month drain interval, and two 1 year drain intervals, one 25K miles, the other 35K miles. With these two, you'll need to use GOOD filters and change it AT LEAST every 6 months, 12,500 miles (+ top off the oil). The first time using, you should do so more often and have an oil analysis done. Each car is different, and you'd want to be sure yours can handle those extended drains...

Let me know if I can be of any more assistance!!

Chris, check your PM (I'm not supposed to post prices publicly, if they are less than retail)..
