if you want a clean install, measure twice, cut once.

ditto.

take your time and you should be ok...get lots of dremel cut off wheels...it makes it easier.

its not that hard.

also...wear eye protection when you are cutting. i was wearing my glasses when i was cutting and the dremel disc broke and flew into my face. luckily it hit my glasses...but it could have hit my eye.

if you have troulbe fitting the lights, bang a little on the rad support. some might not reccomend this, but, i don't see any problems.

well with mine, once they are in, its kind of hard to adjust them. up and down is fairly easy. i left the lower mount unscrewed, its just a piece of metal bent over to hold it. left to right is difficult if you still want the grill to sit right. its a pita

huh? as far as i know the only headlight that is close to the stock maxima headlight is the e36 headlights, whether plastic, glass eplisoids or the zyk thingy. they are all the same size and has a decent fit on the max. thats it. the plastic ones are under a hundred, glass eps are 300+ and i dont know the pricing for the other one. btw if anyones looking for angel eyes for there bimmer lights i'm going to be selling a kit for them shortly. stay tuned to the link in my sig

BMW all the way...havn't seen any others out there, but sure there are.

If i'm not mistaken, buying new lights from a dealer comes with bulbs and all i'll need to buy is the harnesses?? Besides tools, i'll nees 2 lights, 2 9005 harnesses, 2 9006 harness and.........
I wanna keep it under 300 bucks, is that possible?

Find something original? Like....?

There's only so much you can do to something. It's either stock lights (or something ON the stock lights, be it vinyl, paint, whatever), or BMW lights. What else could you do there?

There's almost nothing you can do with the stock housing....

Why dont you come up with some ideas for those copy cats?

yes and no....given that they would cost $300-350, I doubt many people would actually spring for them to begin with(most likely why they don't make them for us )

I've only seen one max with them on my city(houston,tx) and that is David's(maimapwr)...i think. But i will do it and it will ba soooo bad as* when it's done!!!!!!!

Well my bmw lights are different (for now anyway) They look like they came factory on the car.

Like someone else said there are a lot of people on this board that have them but I am the only one that has them anywhere close to where I live.
