The mechanic said I need a new sway bar and that with installation his would be $300. I saw that a cattman one for a 4th gen was $160. Do they make them for 3rd gen or do you know who does? How much would just installtion for that be? What are the benefits of a performance sway bar over the one my mechanic will give me?

thanks,
PJ

i got suspension techniques sway bars on mine both front and back. they were like $220 for both and came with bushings from nopi. i installed them myself. really easy to do the front but the back takes a little work . probably about an hour for the labor so i would say under $100 to get it installed at a shop. they really help a lot and i noticed a considerable difference over the stock sway bars. good luck
