Transmission Filter

Help. 1989 Maxima SE w/150K. I have previously had the transmission professionally serviced every 30K but doing it myself this time. My service manual only discusses removal and replacement of fluid but not filter. There is a filter kit available, but I am not sure where the filter is located or at what interval it should be changed.....anyone with expertise that can counsel me I would appreciate it.

no serviceable filter...there's one inside that tranny and it's replaced when the tranny is rebuilt.
