...i also just finished raciing my friend who has a 89 cougar w/ a mustang 5.0...he wooped me but i was still pretty close..any comments?

all 3rd gen GXE's are about the same, same VG30 and all, but I think that the trunk design changed somewhere in there, Matt93SE would know I think. anyway congrats.

I think the exhaust would kill the intake, but if i were you i would get an intake to make your exhaust happy. Also since theyre both automatics, maybe one of you had the fancy power button, or overdrive or possiably manual shifting?

just some thoughts
MrGone

please correct me if Im wrong but im under the impression that all 3rd gen GXE's are Auto. thanks.

Some, I believe the 88-93 ran a low 14...not to sure though, I will have to ask nummaonenutsaq, he is a big mustang freak.

we both had the power button on and the overdrive button pushed in (i guess off)..so we basically just floored it..i just found it interesting that my car..4 years older and only with an exhaust...beat his car which is a 94 and a stillin intake
