Looking For Front Spoiler; Posted In For Sale Forum Too

i know this isn't the classified forum, but if i post something for a third gen in the third gen AND the for sale forums, i'll probably have a slightly better chance of finding some answers, so before anyone yells at me for posting in the wrong place, i'm just doing it to make increase the post's viewability

if possible, i'd like to avoid paying full price. is anyone selling one or maybe looking to buy a whole kit minus the front? i know, the chances of that are slim, but nismo 1989 was in a similar situation a while ago, which i found out by doing a SEARCH on this topic before i posted this. so THAT'S what that green word in the upper-right part of the screen can do. neat. a long over-due thanks to everyone who repeatedly told me where the search feature was located; i am forever in your debt

seriously though, anyone got any info on a front part of a body kit? thanks

I want to get a body kit, but I am too afraid of going up a driveway or something that is steep and ripping it off...do they look that low and have enough clearance, or are they really that low to the ground?

Seems like it would be a waste of money to me.

I have scraped mine, and my girl scrapes it against every parking hump she can find, but it's never chipped, cracked, or even come close to ripping off. I thought it would if she drove it, but it's been fine for some time now... !!

Did you put it on yourself, or did you have a body shop do it?

I did it myself. It takes a little work to make the fiberglass fit flush, but nothing serious that anyone couldn't do IMO...

I probably would have to see one to see how it's put on. I haven't seen in max's here in Springfield with a body kit, so I can't really tell...Actually, it seems like I am the only one with a 3rd gen around here to do any mods to it...

You basically just screw it on with screws that look alot like heat treated drywall screws.
