broken gas guage
broken gas guage
i noticed today that my gas guage isnt working correctly now! i moved it around when i was installing the indiglow guages. i didnt think i did anything wrong, because the other needles moved freely but the gas one was spongy feeling. did i break it by moving it?? what should i do to try and fix it?

I'm experiencing the same thing, I install my indiglo's and now my gas light won't come on, but if it's totally not moving(the needle) then that means you need to back the needle off the actually gauges abit, or if it's stuck on the empty, then you miss placed your needle and then best do cure this problem is to run your car till it dies from no gas, then put you needle on the "E" because unless you marked somwhere of where it was before then you never going to know exactly where it goes, and I imagine I have to do the same thing but it's such a hassle taking the entire dash apart once you've already got it back together.Good Luck
