Can someone tell me how to remove the front
grill on my 89GXE? It has these weird square
clips that come off ok but are very dificult
to reconnect. Any and all suggestions are
welcome.

 

I hope by "come off" you don't mean that you actually took the plastic inserts off. They aren't supposed to come off separately. Take a pair of pliers, squeeze the clips and tease the grill out (pull away from the the engine bay). Be careful or you'll snap them.

You may want to squirt a little bit of WD-40.

By the way, the first time I took my grill off, I did a search on here. Helped lots.
