Hey everyone I want to do the BMW headlight conversion, but i think it looks ugly with regular clear corners on. Where do you get those cool UK clear corners, they look like they match perfectly.

Ask Craig... but be prepared to pay BIG BUCKS!!! I heard they're upwards of $300 to have them shipped to the US!

you cant easily get them anywhere in the US
I got lucky and knew someone in England who was selling his car soon so I traded him for some US clear corners

from the dealer, they cost £79 each which is about $115 and then shipping would probably be something like $30 so expect to pay about $250 or so (I may have said $300 before but I talked with a UK guy recently who told me the 79 pounds number)

I can't really see paying that much for a set of corner lights (also these dont come stock with lights, you have to drill it out, pry them open and take out a small insert in the small side and then you can reuse the sockets from your stock ones if you did a good job with the dremel and didn't break the lense-luckily I didn't but came close one time). A couple guys have tried tinting their stock corners with products such as nightshades or other translucent black paints that you can get from hobby shops and seemed to have good results. I believe spyhunter on here may be selling some US clears that he tinted so PM him if you're interested

yeah, the UK corners do match the E36 headlights well

That Craig.

Besides they are ugly, you don't want them.

when tinting the corners, would it be best to tint the inside of the lense rather than the outside? I figured it would give the same effect as the UK corners.
