Help finding 12v power source/wire
Anyone know of a 12v source I could hook up my rear neons to that are located near/by the rearseat? I appreciate help and a write-up on the process would be nice to

if u need some power try stealing some from your fuse panel...u have to take apart the lower part oif the dash and the fuse panel comes out fairly easily...cut a wire and splice the one that needs power into it, u can hook up a switch there 2...hope that helps...

Yea, I've been messin around down there but I don't know which one
Do you suggest any methods on splicing and reconnecting the wires.....
I've got 4 neons now I've been workin on my interior w/ my steering wheel cover, pedals, gauge light, and a tonna lights and junk.

dont just go around messing with the Fuse box, if you dont know what you are doing, cutting factory wire is ghetto
if you need a power source, go get an amp wiring kit or something and get wiring directly from the battery and wire it down the car to where ever you need it.
also you dont cut factory wiring, if you need to tap a line use a wire tap, it pinch's into the wire and wraps it self around it, and you use another wire to plug into it. walmart carrys junk like that look around automotive stores before you start cutting and splicing

someone correct me if i'm wrong..but if you've replaced ya bose system with aftermarket speakers, you can use the 12v source from there that powers the amps....only thing is, i don't remember where the exactly the source is, but its comin from one of the rear amps!!

and you may be the youngest maxima owner but you sure make yourself look like the stupidest sometimes by asking these questions that can be searched if you try meaning try a few combinations.

whoa never got pinched.. hmmm.. how about tap into the antenna motor contant power wire in the jack area.. there is a wire that has constant 12v power.. could give that a try...oh by the way arent youa moderator in another forum???

btw the way I didnt mean to come off as an as$ but this is a question that can be figured out or easily searched.
