Leaving the max for SURE now

Time to move on to either a Jetta 1.8t or a 1996+ SE Max so my current max will have to be sold. I see a lot of you guys posting on here wishing they could get their hands on a 5speed VE so here is your chance. Clutch was just replaced, new tires, new battery, new starter, all the fun expensive stuff. It does have 140,000 miles and needs a new front main seal (roughly $130) but other than that it is in great shape. Has all options except for ABS. If anyone here is interested drop me a line. Im located in the south west portion of Michigan, but Im willing to sell to anyone. And mods, I posted here first due to the amount of posts I see here of people looking for VE 5Speeds and wanted to give people here first crack.
Thanks
Jay

uhhh, front main seal is a fairly easy DIY job that can be done in about an hour for $10 in parts.

just an FYI for anyone who thinks that's a scary job. you can add an ASP underdrive pulley to the job and have yourself a few extra horses and be around $150 total. seal = $8, pulley = $115, belts= $40.

Matt, where do you get the ASP underdrive pulley? I was under the impression that Unorthodox racing made the only 3rd gen pulley.

Auto Specialties makes one for the VE. You can get them at Summit Racing IIRC.

UR makes the VG, ASP makes the VE.
