I have been reading all the 3rd generation messages for the last few weeks. I am 15 years old and turning 16 in a few weeks and if all goes to plan i will be behind the wheel of a 92-94 SE fairly soon. I have saved up a lot of money for making my maxima the best car at my school. So you will start to see more and more of me as I pimp out my new Max.

IMHO too many people become experts too fast.

Don't be impulsive with your mods, remember it ain't a stinking contest.

Re: welcome, read and learn

I think he means "at his school" not "compared to any and all of us"

yup yup, as the other two said...

welcome! enjoy! read! learn!
sit back and have fun.. don't try to dump ALL your money into the car modding it at first.. for one, the first year orso of driving, you're bound to make a mistake or two and end up buying a new clutch, bumper, fender, mirror, etc.
everyone I know has had at least one small fender-bender their first year of driving..
on a Maxima, it's pretty expensive to fix.. (a crushed fender will cost $800 at a shop to fix. $150-200 if you do it yourself.)

so save a little cash for an emergency fund, but other than that, have fun!

i dunno about your school...

But at mine we got a brand new Mustang Cobra, 97 GT wit mods, really tricked out new blazer, new BMW M3, new cadillac escalade, and some more from time to time. I don't think any of you can top that in a 3rd gen.
