Theres an Idle screw that should be close to where you see two cables on the top of your intake manifold. I believe its the cable on the right (looking at the engine from the front of the car) is the throttle. Don't quote me on that though.

Yeah it is the cable on the right. The cable on the left is cruise control if you have it. Works just like adjusting old bike brakes. Once you look at the throttle cable you will see how to adjust it.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.

I don't know if it matters, but I read in Chilton that there was a diagnostic switch on the ecu you should turn first to check and make sure everything is running properly, then you have to set it on a specific setting to adjust it properly. Chilton's is messed up sometimes! That's just what it said! If you want it to idle higher, maybe just adjust your throttle position sensor?

Its real easy to adjust the throttle on the cable. I wouldnt even mess with the TPS because if you screw that up your out at least $50. I already messed one up so its not worth the hassle. I have adjusted my throttle by the cable and it seems to work fine.
