Better Fit For 17 inch tires?
Guys, I plan on ordering my rims this week, but I am looking for the best fit for a 17 inch rim. I looked at The Tire Size Calculator and entered in the stock size and then checked to see how close I could match that with a 17 inch rim. I have always been told that 225/45 or 225/50 is the best size when using 17s. But, 215/50 seems to almost mirror the specs from the 15 inch stock tire. Which do you guys think works the best or are there other sizes that I should be considering? I am concerned with rubbing, so please advise accordingly.
