Ok i'm looking for a set of preformance shocks but could only come up with Tokico illumina shocks and struts which is eletronically ajustable but a price of $135 makes me think these aren't sport shocks at all.I checked koni's website out but it seems that they only have them for the 95 and up maxima's,so were can i find some performance shocks for my third gen max?O and about the tokico's i mentioned are those sporty or what?

check http://www.shox.com ....the tokicos for our rides are up around 300...the 135 price may have just been for the rears or something like that...

Consensus seems to be that Konis are the best available at the moment for Maximas. They are pretty pricy. Some people have had problems with Tokicos, some have not.

have to modify the koni's to get them to fit right!
not hard just a *****.

most people seem to be happy with the Tokico Premiums. 220 for the fronts and 60 for the rears.

your call.

KYB GS-2 are another brand but only a couple people have them.

No, you have to modify your struts, not the Koni's themselves. Go to my website for more info on the install.
