Timing and CAI....

Well I got two questions, now I know how to increase the timing and such, and I know that you have to run a higher octane fuel, but did anyone notice any performance gains with the VG? Did you notice it running smoother or better economy? and if so what degree did you advance it to, I beleive that 17 is stock.

Second question is to all those that have made home brewed CAI adapters, I wanted to know if they had pics or instructions to what they had done... Thanks alot guys and just so everyone knows I did search...

I have a VG, and I advanced my timing about a week and a half ago. The throttle response is definately improved (faster pickup response), and the car is actually idling smoother. You should go up to 93 octane after this though. If you want to do this, go to Craig's site to read the write-up w/pics.
