still jerky shifts
still jerky shifts
i know that w/ the addition of an intake, the engines ecu has to 'get used' to the new flow of the air and functioning of the engine and everything; my mechanic told me that for a little while after getting my cai installed that the car would be somewhat jerky when the engine shifts from gear to gear. i have had the intake in for a while now and its still really jerky when the car shifts... is this from something else entirely or am i just not waiting long enough for my car to adjust? thanks
First time I have heard of this
Check some of the posts regarding CAI installation.
this is the first time that I have heard people say that there car was jerky after CAI installation. Perhaps something is not hooked up right....Sensor?
After I installed mine the only thing I noticed was the roar of the intake at WOT. I got low gas mileage for a few days
Good luck DL

call me stupid, but i htought the car just 'learned' on its own how to adapt to the addition of new hardware...
