There are some things that I notice that are different about my new Pearl White 90 SE 5-spd and my old SkyBlue 90 SE auto.

1) The Pearl 90 SE has ABS... SkyBlue 90 SE didn't.
2) The Pearl doesn't have a vibration dampener (or whatever that thing is) in the trunk... SkyBlue had one.
3) Pearl's & SkyBlue's Low Fuel light don't work!
4) The Pearl has a slighty different steering wheel... SkyBlue had a much nicer one.
5) Both get around 240 miles per tank of gas.
6) Pearl is slower than SkyBlue.
7) Pearl's antenna is different than SkyBlue (This might have been replaced by the Previous owner of the Pearl max.. but the antenna is still a POS!)
8) Pearl has factory tinted windows... SkyBlue didn't.

I think that's everything. Both max's have cloth interior, same Bose stereo & climate controls, cruise, power everything except seats, etc...

have a digital cliamte control? I alway wondered about that. It seems to me I remember seeing a digi CC in a 3rdG max before.

just curious, how much did you pay for your pearl SE? I have and pearl gxe and it doesnt have the vibration dampener in the trunk either, and the fuel light is broken also.

theyres a super black 90 SE 5spd for sale here for 3400, i think thats a decent price. im trying to get my friend to buy it

Skymax: I have a Pearl white 90SE with ABS, 4 wheel disc brakes, bose, and cloth seats with black interior. Could you tell us what is the date of manufacture on both cars. I mean how far apart they were built with in the same year. What is vibration dampner and what does it look like?

The vibration dampener is a big black metal cylinder mounted in the trunk directly behind the rear seat armrest. its under some plastic. My 90 SE has it. I thinks its a SE thing or something, or maybe manfg. date
