Unusual fuel leak

I am not very mechanically inclined and neeed help. I own a '91 SE 5spd and I have noticed just yesterday when I fill the tank all the way, I get gas dripping on the ground, especially when parked on an incline. It does not happen when the car is 3/4 or less full. It's leaking from up high where I cannot see. I was wondering, is there some sort of connector at the top where I fill with gas and that fuel line? Or will that whole fuel line just need to be replaced? Thanks for the help.

Did you top off, or just stop when the pump stopped? I had mine do it once when I topped it off, but not since.

I'll bet

I'll bet it's your overflow hose. Mine was all cracked and deteriorated. Leaked during hard driving and on steep hills. I just cut it and clamped a repair section. Peak under the car by the filler tube. You'll see a smaller diameter hose nearby..that's the overflow. or maybe it's a vent..either way, if it's cracked it will like in a fashion as you described.

There is a recall for 3rd gen fuel lines... I'd call up the dealer and make an appointment to have that fixed first...
