Knock Sensor Location On 92 Se Auto
Knock Sensor Location On 92 Se Auto
Hi,
I have a 92 SE automatic, I was wondering where would the knock sensor be located in my engine, I am suffering from suvere power surge in my car, can it be due to the bad knock sensor which retards timing? How much would the new knock sensor be and what involves changing it.
Thanks for any help.

-Has your TB been cleaned
-IACV cleaned
-How old are your ignition coils
-You could also simply have a dead injector,
I would reccomend that you go to nissan and get a "Power Balance Test".

The KS is a pretty big job (at least time consuming). It is located beneath the lower intake manifold. The intake collector would be removed, fuel rails, intake manifold, and a large water pipe. You can get a new one for ~~$100 (aftermarket)
