I searched and read most if not all threads about bose and couldn't find what i needed. So i went to my car to use trial and error and it worked but horribly.

Here's the deal, i got a new pioneer deck into my 92se to replace busted bose one. $50 for a oem harness and it was a cake to install. Since the resistance in bose speakers is so low and two of my rear speakers are shot i wanted to get more sound so i got two rear 6x9 used pioneer speakers total peak 150 Watt. Then i unplugged my rear bose speakers and disconnected pre-amps. Now, here's the deal: The cable that goes from receiver to pre-amp and then into speakers has 4 wires. Right cable has thick red and thick black wire as well as thin red/white and thin red/black. Left cable has thick red and thick black as well as thin blue/white and thin blue/black. The thick wires i left uncut. The thin wires that have double color i cut and connected to speakers but all i got is a very very quiet sound and only when i turn up the volume and give all the power to the rear. If anyone has any ideas, please help me.
