I have a 94' GXE with 107k miles on it and i was thinking that before i do any big changes to it (ex: springs & shocks)..does it have too many miles, and should i just save up to get a car with less miles, or should i go for it?

hey, whats up? i have the same car you do and mine has 109k miles on it. i plan to acc. mine out and see no reason why you shouldnt. these cars and engines are tough and if properly maintained i wouldnt be suprised to get at least another 50-100k miles out of it. i would say go for it. esp. if you plan on keeping your car for a while.how did you do your grill? i want to do my own too.maybe we can share some info on our cars since they are the same. what color is years? good luck!

Re: Rambo.....

oh, okay about the grill. thats what i was asking about. how did you do it? was it hard? for the guy who was thinking about buying the 94 GXE i would say go for it. as long as it runs good and has been taken care of it will last. i have the same car and love it. have 109k miles on mine, and it run wonderful.

At 109K, Your car is will last you a while. A Friend of mine was selling his 89 SE 5spd for about $3K and it had 214,000 miles on it and still ran strong. My 91 SE currently has about 123K on it and I bought it a year ago this month with 97K on it and it runs 50% better now than it did when I got it. Keep it in good shape and she'll treat you the same =)
