how do you find out what your keypad code is?
my girlfriend got a 93 but doesnt know the code, is there a trick to figure this out? also, her antennae doesnt go down, is it too late for it or can that be remedied?

FAQ you.
read the FAQ pages in the stickies above. (the keypad code info is also in the MAx owner's manual).
Kalebs and possibly craig's FAQ pages talk about the keypad.
if you can hear the antenna motor running and the mast doesn't move, then it's time for a new mast.

well.....most would tell you to search but its hard to find teh answer so i'll just help ya out cuz i had teh same problem....
first get a flashlight
next go to the passenger side door and put the seat as far back as you can.....
nest on your back looking up under the glove compartment box you'll see a brass colored box which i think is the door security box system.....whatever.....its way under there toward the door side of the passenger side of the car.....if you dun see flash that light around to get a glimpse of it
look for the code starting with S....this is the master code
now yell at ur girlfriend who i hope has a pen and paper ready, the code after the S
now get out of the car close all the door and lock em.
hit the St/cl button followed by the master code....
once you put these in you'll here a prolonged beep and this is when you enter the code you like i believe it can be 5 - 7 numbers but from what i hear it can't be the same numbers in a row (E.G 909xxx)
after you enter the code you like hit ST/Cl and all the door should open....
hit win to put down the windows and trk for the trunk to open....
i believe this is all correct, if not Private message me and i'll be happy to give ya a hand

Keyless entry is a peice of cake. You just need an aftermarket alarm system with lock/unlock feature or a keyless entry system. Run two wires from the aftermarket brain to the driver's door and tap into the lock and unlock wires for the actuator. This will subsequently lock/unlock all doors at the same time with just these two wires. You will want to verify the output of the door lock/unlock so you don't short anything out. If I recall, it utilizes a negative signal.

I read the tutorial and printed the proceedure, went out at night in my pj's and a flashlight. The code was just were you said it was. Thankyou so much. Not sure when I need it though...maybe if the locks are frozen or in the dark so I dont scratch the door with the key. But hey it works! Nissan suggested I install a new system.

about that antennae, you can just use wd40 to rigorous clean it (if it still extends and u can hear the motor running). since you prob have not in a long time, stuff will get on in the inside of the housing, which is a real pain to clear out (just thru forcing it up and down). after you clean it, i use a bike lubricant to prevent too much dust from collecting (it'll last a month or two before ur next cleaning). however, what i figured out this winter was that bike lubricant (i got the wax kind so maybe different for others) is that it'll freeze at around 30F so i had to switch back to wd40 during the winter. i guess you could find bike (chain) lubricant that works well in the cold, but not sure if they sell 'em since most ppl wont ride when its 30F outside.
im still trying to see if its possible to clean the inside of the antennae. it might be needed if the above steps dont work for you (and from what i've heard from my brother whose been on the forums for a while, its a pretty common problem)
