can I get some rotor suggestions

Ok guys, I'm rotor shopping. Which do you think would be the best choice to go along with EBC greenstuff pads?

PowerSlot slotted rotors - $240 (local shop)
EBC Sport slotted/drilled rotors - $165 (local shop)
Brembo solid rotors - $108 (Nopi)

I know Matt has suggested the Brembo's a few times, any other thoughts out there?

i just put in the brembo's they're great. Check jagworks.com for brembo's they're real cheap there. I got them for $44.00 a piece and orders over $75.00 have free shipping.

Nopi sucks! good luck if you see your order, everyone I know has had bad experiences with them. They sell stuff cheap because they don't have it.

I do search, that's what I do with my spare time. The reason I only have a few posts is because all your questions can basically be answered from past posts. Just felt like getting some specific input on products and where to order from.

Thanks for that NOPI warning.

I was going to order some Brembo blanks from NOPI since they were the cheapest I found.

I guess I will go with Jagworks and just pay a bit more.

BTW, do Brembo rotors come in like a Brembo box with "Brembo" stamped on the rotors? How do I check if I am definately getting the real thing and not some imitation.

yes all original stuff, the box is red and brembo is all over the box. It's all original stuff. I just don't like the brake pads they sell but they have good rotor prices. They also have excellent shipping. The main office is in florida but the warehouse is in New Jersey. You won't be dissapointed.

I had to get rear rotors for my car a while back and just decided to get them from autozone instead of waiting on mail order and I was suprised when the guy brought them to me that they were brembo rotors (red box with brembo all over them) and Ithink they were only like 30something (cant remember for sure) I dont know if they were different brembo rotors than people are wanting or what.

I just figures brembo was some cheap rotor since autozone sold them but then I started reading on here that is what people are suggesting.

i think brembo is one of the best solid rotor brands, you should ask matt93se, our moderator, he knows his brake stuff.

www.irotors.com or maybe it's www.irotor.com one of those. anyway, they are drilled AND slotted. it's 250 for all 4 rotors and another 100 for pads all the way around. as i understand it, they use brembo blanks and machine the rotors. I can't remember what they coat them with, but it's so they don't rust. anyway, just another option for ya. it's cool cause they're slotted and drilled

Of course both slotted and drilled rotors are going to stay cooler during heavy braking, but I've heard about the x-drilled rotors having problems with cracking. I think Matt said he went through some rotors and they cracked after a few thousand miles. I'm either going with the Brembo blanks or Powerslot... looking for low prices as always.

I had a set of Brembos for about three years I abused them. My brake pads wore out and cut into them. I was told that hey were warped and needed to be replaced two years l8ter. I bought a set of Powerstops from JCwhitney. I had them installed on ly to realize they shipped me a sloted rotor and a cross drilled rotor. I had them sitting about a year in my trunk so I could not send them back. Anyhoo they work great also. I did have a brake fade situation while I had the Brembos but it may have been the porcelin pads I had bought from Pepboys. I have the EBC greens and they are great. even though it took forever to break them in.

I have not had a problem with them. Well, one, I ordered some rear brake pads and they sent me an email with a refund saying they didn't have it. No problem with all the other stuff I have ordered.
